Peter Blignaut started his military career in 1984 with the South African Defence Force (SADF). After qualifying as a Platoon Leader/Instructor he trained new recruits. As a Sergeant he led his platoon for eight months during the bush war in Angola and Namibia. Wanting more of a challenge, he volunteered for Specialised Training, where after qualifying was involved in numerous Special Operations. He was then recruited for and trained to join a Para militarist unit were he remained until it was disbanded and his services terminated.
Due to his military background, Peter became a contractor and continued to offer his services to the SADF and the South African Police Service (SAPS), as well as other organisations and governments anywhere in the world. As a soldier and contractor he has seen combat and gained the experiences that only the reality of war can teach. Peter has also conducted personal protection/bodyguard operations, which has seen him protecting high profile people, presidents, and royalty. Peter leads from the front and personally oversees training standards and all operations. Often, he will personally lead the Operation as Team Leader. He is an outdoor/adventure sport and MMA enthusiast. His memberships include the IBA, ASIS International and the MCSA (Rescue).
